What is a Steel Slab?
A slab is a rectangular steel piece with a large width, produced from molten steel through continuous casting or sometimes rolling of ingots. It is the main raw material for producing hot-rolled sheets, cold-rolled sheets, tin-plated sheets, and coated steel sheets.
